Seventy-two hours of the front camera needs about 130 GB, and the 1 TB SSD holds roughly 500 hours. Because that's worked out at the highest setting, the factory default is covered whatever it's set to.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cstrong\u003eRecords 1080p.\u003c\/strong\u003e The camera and the recorder are both full 1920 x 1080.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cstrong\u003eNight vision.\u003c\/strong\u003e The camera has a low-light sensor rated to 0.1 lux with 120 dB wide dynamic range, rather than infrared. The Act requires recording through the front windshield, and infrared lights reflect off the glass and wash out the picture. The Act doesn't define night vision yet; if the regulations do, we'll update this page.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cstrong\u003eRecords at factory settings to local storage.\u003c\/strong\u003e Footage goes to the SSD inside the recorder.
